I am Jillian Szeliga, an oil painter living in upstate New York with my husband, daughter, and our two cats.

As a still life painter, my work allows me to express observations and ideas through thoughtful compositions influenced by the people and moments that touch my life.  I approach art as a humbling opportunity to learn new things and revisit the childlike joy of being surprised.
